The idea for Kyrö was conceived in a sauna. That's everything but an awkward transition to sauna covers. Once upon a time a group of friends were having a sauna and drinking rye whisky, when they began to ponder why nobody was making rye whisky in Finland. And that's how the story of Kyrö started.
The founders were running naked through a rye field when the first photo of them was taken. It was way before the first distillation took place or any of the rye products were made. But they dared to pursue their dream and it came true. And now five naked butts can be found on these beautiful sauna seat covers. Rye field picture is jaquard woven on the sauna cover, or as we say – the buttlett.
The sauna cover represents the Nordic design of Lapuan Kankurit (weavers of Lapua). It is made out of 40% bio-organic cotton and 60% Masters of Linen. Lapuan Kankurit weave nothing but the absolute best quality responsibly respecting the environment.
